Summer Transfer Window has always been the busiest time for clubs. Big names, giant transfer fees with blockbuster moves are always around.
As La Liga is getting tougher and tougher every season, reinforcements are necessary for either the race for trophy, top 4 or even relegation.
Let’s take a look at the big names who may be coming to the elite league of Spain this season.
1. Aurelien Tchouameni: From Monaco to Real Madrid.
Fee: 80m euro
This deal is almost finished, according to some of the most trustable sources of transfer, including the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
The French midfielder is reported to have rejected both offers from Liverpool and PSG, as he only set eyes on Real Madrid’s move.
The contract, which can be officially announced anytime soon, can cost Los Blancos up to 100m euro with add-ons, 7-year-long.
2. Raphinha: From Leeds to Barcelona
Fee: Unknown
Leed’s ace Raphinha may soon be Blaugrana’s player this Summer. However, the Catalan club will have to battle Liverpool, as the Premier League’s side is looking for Sadio Mane’s replacement, who may leave Anfield this Summer.
Barca may have no competitive advantage compared with Liverpool, but importantly, the player himself chose Barca.
It’s up to the 3 clubs in negotiations to find the best outcome.
3. Robert Lewandowski: From Bayern Munich to Barcelona
Fee: Free agent
The Bavarian’s legendary striker has stated very clearly that he had no motivation left to play for his current club. Bayern, however, still holds firm and does not want to let Lewandowski go easily.
This is not the first time the Polish wishes to depart from the Bundesliga’s side. He has won everything, from club to individual level, all but the Ballon d’Or.
Now at the age of 34, Lewandowski would love to try new challenges, and many sources stated that Barcelona is his dream move. Having a free agent like Lewandowski is a dream for every manager, however, his salary cap will be a notable issue for Barca.
4. Carlos Soler: From Valencia to Atletico Madrid
Fee: 15m euro
This is an internal move from La Liga, but it’s worth talking about. The former La Liga’s king waved goodbye to Luis Suarez, and soon, it will be Alvaro Morata. That’s why Atletic needs reinforcements very soon this Summer if they wish to keep the title race tight with Real Madrid.
Soler is a proven striker and currently is with Valencia. 15m euro is a ‘steal deal’ for the player who is good at scoring and assisting.
5. Cesar Azpilicueta: From Chelsea to Barcelona
Fee: Free agent
Chelsea’s captain is rumored to accept the 2-year-deal with the La Liga’s side. After almost a decade fighting for the Blues, the versatile Spanish defender has made an impressive collection of trophies.
Azpilicueta has won the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Club World Cup during his decade at Chelsea, registering 16 goals and 56 assists from 463 games in all competitions.
The London’s club will try to keep him for another season, as he’s entering the last year of the contract.
For Barca, the bringing of such experienced skipper and defender like Dave would be some top priorities for Xavi this Summer.
6. Gabriel Jesus: From Man City to Real Madrid
Fee: 50m euro
Man City is demanding 50m euro for Jesus, in case Madrid insists on signing him. The Brazilian ace is still at his peak, with broad ability of playing on wings or highest striker.
Arsenal wants him, Chelsea is reported to follow his every move. With the arriving of Erling Haaland, Jesus’ status at the Premier League’s club is threatened. Carlo Ancelotti likes him a lot, after the 2 legs of UCL’s SF last season.
Jesus can be a cheaper version of Kylian Mbappe, but no one will dare to say he’s less with quality.
