Araujo ‘very happy’ at Barcelona amid transfer rumors
Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo insisted that he is “very happy” with the Catalan club amid transfer rumors circulating since January.

ESPN reported that Barca will let the Uruguay national leave if they receive an offer close to €100 million.
The centre-back has garnered interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the recent transfer windows.
Reports also surfaced that Bayern are still eyeing to sign Araujo.
Araújo, 25, last renewed his contract with Barcelona in 2022.
His contract will expire in 2026 and has a €1 billion release clause.
The Catalan club are reportedly open to offers for all their top players, and Araujo falls into that category.
Barcelona’s financial woes are well-documented, and they have to raise money for next season.
Still ‘very happy’ at Barca
Araujo said that his future lies at the hands of Barcelona.
“My future depends on the club. Everyone knows I’m very happy here at Barca,” Araujo said after his side scored a Champions League round of 16 win over Napoli to enter the quarterfinals.
“And I’m very grateful to (manager) Xavi. We are very happy with the qualification, we played a great game at home. The support of our fans was very key from the first minute.”
Araujo has played a key role for Barcelona, playing 30 games across all competitions.
He scored his only goal this season so far in La Liga.
