Casado suffers knee injury
Casado sustained the injury during Barca’s 4-2 victory over Atletico Madrid.
The Catalan club confirmed that the 21-year-old will be out for about two months.
Barca said in a statement that he will undergo further tests in the coming days to assess the severity of the injury and determine the necessary treatment.

“This morning, additional tests were performed on first-team player Marc Casado, confirming a partial tear of the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee,” it read.
“He will undergo conservative treatment and is expected to be out for approximately two months.”
Casado suffered the injury in the first half at the Metropolitano.
However, he continued playing until midway through the second period, when Eric Garcia replaced him.
Flourishing under Flick
Casado had been enjoying a breakout season under Hansi Flick after earning a formal promotion to the first team last summer.
He has featured 35 times across all competitions, with his performances with his club earning him a Spain debut last November.

Flick must rely on other midfielders like Garcia, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, and Dani Olmo.
The only other Barca players sidelined for a significant period are Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal.
Meanwhile, Andreas Christensen is expected to return to training soon.
