Bayern Munich eyes Barca’s Ronald Araujo for €100m
Bayern Munich is planning to acquire Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo for €100 million, according to Marca.

Bayern Munich Wants Araujo
ESPN first reported that Barca will let the Uruguayan national leave if they receive an offer close to €100 million.
The Bundesliga side is reportedly willing to meet Barcelona’s condition.
Araújo, 25, last renewed his contract with Barcelona in 2022.
The Catalan giants want to keep the Uruguayan international, and have already offered him a new contract.
The said extension would keep Araújo with the club until 2029.
However, Araujo has yet to respond from Barcelona.
Araujo’s Future
The defender insists that he is happy with Barcelona.
However, Araujo says that his future depends on the club.
“My future depends on the club. Everyone knows I’m very happy here at Barca,” Araujo said in late February.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta said he is confident that Araujo will be part of the team’s future.
“Araujo is very integrated. The other day we premiered the ‘Orígens’ program for Barça One, and it will surely not be one of those cases. The thing is that sometimes communication does not quite reach where it needs to go. I am referring to the negotiations. And there I think that this is already solved in some way because there was some distortion when it came to communicating everything we had in mind for Ronald.”
Araujo has played a key role for Barcelona, playing over 30 games across all competitions.
He scored his only goal this season so far in LaLiga.
