Njalla Quan Junior accuses Samuel Eto’o of game-fixing

In a report by The Athletic, the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation faces accusations of game-fixing, making threats, spreading false information, inciting violence, and abusing power.

The accusations came from former Fecafoot vice-president Henry Njalla Quan Junior.

Njalla Quan Junior submitted a comprehensive file to FIFA regarding Eto’o’s alleged misconduct.

Njalla Quan Junior points to a match between his academy and Kumba City FC, which he claims Eto’o fixed, describing it as “the most scandalous… in the history of mankind.”

Eto’o also faces accusations of helping a “close associate” Valentine Nkwain’s team win promotion.

The incident led to a falling out between Eto’o and Nialla Quan Junior.

The ex-Barcelona and Inter Milan star then allegedly paid someone to send a threatening message to Njalla Quan Junior.

Eto’o and his representative have yet to address the allegations, as of this writing.

Cameroon legend

Eto’o began his career in Real Madrid at 16 years old and quickly established himself as a household name in Barcelona.

Two days before the incident, Eto’o, 42, celebrated his 16th year of being the Africa Cup of Nations’ all-time top Scorer.

The ex-striker scored 18 goals across six tournaments, which hasn’t been surpassed by any players today.

Eto’o broke the all-time AFCON goal-scoring record held by Ivory Coast’s Laurent Pokou.

Overall, Eto’o is a two-time AFCON winner, four-time Champions League winner, four-time African Footballer of the Year, and an Olympic gold medalist in 2000.

He also won titles in Spanish and Italian Leagues with Barcelona and Inter Milan.
