CA Osasuna Summary

Club Atlético Osasuna are a Navarre-based club that celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2020. Representing Pamplona, their home venue is the 18,375-capacity Estadio El Sadar.

When the professional football hierarchy in Spain was established in 1929, CA Osasuna started in the third division. They reached La Liga for the first time in 1935.

In the 2010s, Osasuna bounced between the top tier and the Segunda División. They were the second division champions in the 2018-19 season, promoting them once again to the Primera División. As of the 2021-22 calendar, they have been in the top flight for a total of 39 seasons.

Los Rojillos have not won a major trophy, and the farthest they have gone in a national level tournament is the final of Copa del Rey, which they did in 2005. Their best performance in a UEFA tournament was playing in the third round of qualifying of the Champions League and reaching the semifinals of the UEFA Cup, both occurring in the 2006-07 season.

OSA have had two players participate at the FIFA World Cup while still in the club: Savo Milošević (2006) and Francisco Silva (2014).
