Real Madrid beat Almeria in the opening game of La Liga 2022/23
It was an away comeback thanks to a goal by Lucas Vazquez and a stunning free-kick by David Alaba from Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Villarreal holds a 3-goal fest to Valladolid’s Jose Zorrilla with a brace by Alex Baena. The 90-minute goal was a rocket to the top bin having Asenjo totally frozen in the post. Third best goal of La Liga 22/23 MD 1 could not leave out Takefusa Kubo’s score the only goal to beat Cadiz in Sociedad’s away trip. The first touch followed by a sublime demi-volley from Sociedad’s new man was too good to be stopped.
