As usual, Modric’s role will be important under Carlo Ancelotti with the XI depending on his needs.
With Modric’s extension, Real Madrid has closed the renewal chapter after the agreement with Kroos, Nacho, and Ceballos.
With the first target on the to-do list now taken care of, the club will focus all its efforts on finding a player who can fill the no.9 void to complete the Italian coach’s squad.
Madrid has been busy in the Summer transfer window with the departures of Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Diaz.
