Robert Lewandowski slammed ‘Terrible’ for raging and refusing Lamine’s handshake
Robert Lewandowski was slammed and branded ‘Terrible,’ ‘Arrogrant,’…for refusing Lamine Yamal’s handshake during Barcelona’s comeback at Alaves on Sunday.
Lewandowski vs Lamine – What happened?
During the La Liga 2023/24 MD13, in which Barca hosted Alaves at Montjuic, Lewandowski, who scored twice to earn Barcelona a stunning comeback, appeared to ignore his teammate Lamine when the youngster tried to shake his hand.

Barca was behind early when Alave’s Omorodion scored within the 1st minute. It took Barca’s last season’s top scorer, Lewandowski, until the early second half to finally fire home the equalizer.
It was the Polish’s first goal after a 4-game goal drought – his longest in the career before he completed a brace and accomplished the comeback.
Between those actions, Lewa was spotted raging at Barcelona teenager Lamine as the Poland international cut a frustrated figure at times.
Footage has now emerged of Lewandowski apparently raging at Yamal after the teenager went for a goal instead of playing the ball into the box where the striker was waiting.
To make matters worse, Yamal heads over to Lewandowski and offers his hand, but the Barcelona No. 9 ignores the gesture entirely.
Things don’t look good for Barcelona, particularly Lewandowski. The 35-year-old is one of the most experienced members of the team and would be expected to set an example to the younger players.
The other side of what actually happened
Don’t trust anything you see on medias, or, well, look for other sides (or footage) to actually figure the whole picture.
Other clips surfaced, showing that Lewa and Yamal hit the high-five after the goal, while another showed how the former Bayern Munich talisman stood up to protect the youngster.
Lewandowski has previously been full of praise for Yama. He said back in September he’d never seen a player quite like him before but warned he “should still have a childhood.”
