Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona are named in the top 100 teams in the world, having invested the most in transfer fees.

Real Madrid, Atletico, and Barcelona are in top 100 teams spending the most on transfer
Current La Liga EA Sports top place, Real Madrid spent €708m for their squad and ranked #8 in the top 100 – also the only Spanish top-flight in the top 10.
In the past five seasons, the royal club spent almost half a billion euros for different positions, but the midfielders take the most significant sum of €447m.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side completed the record-signing of Jude Bellingham, €103.00m, in the summer transfer window, their second most expensive one since the 2019/20 season (Eden Hazard is the highest-paid signing at €115.00m).
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid rank higher than reigning league champions Barcelona, with €148m spent for midfielders.
Catalan side Barca invested the most in forwards (€183m), with more than €100m for Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha in the 2022/23 season.
Sevilla have the fourth most expensive squad in La Liga (236 million euro), but the results from the past two seasons would frustrate the fans.
Getafe and Mallorca have two of the lowest-price squads, ranking #97 and #94 at the bottom of the top 100 clubs, with €56m and €59m, respectively.
