Levante vs Athletic Club, also scheduled for September 16, was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch and is therefore not included as a completed result.

Barcelona 7-2 Racing Santander

Barcelona produced another emphatic attacking performance to beat Racing Santander 7-2 at Camp Nou and extend their perfect start to the 2026/27 Laliga season.

João Cancelo opened the scoring in the 7th minute before Raphinha converted a penalty in the 24th. Racing briefly reduced the deficit through Maguette Gueye in the 29th minute, but Barcelona quickly regained control.

An Asier Villalibre own goal in the 35th minute made it 3-1 before Raphinha struck again in the 41st to send Barcelona into halftime with a commanding lead.

Racing scored their second through Yassir Zabiri in the 64th minute, but Raphinha completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot two minutes later. Gabriel Jesus scored in the 78th minute before Lamine Yamal completed the 7-2 victory in the 88th.

The win gave Barcelona 18 points from six Laliga matches, keeping them three points ahead of Real Madrid after the midweek fixtures. Barcelona have now scored 28 league goals in their opening six games.

Atlético Madrid 4-0 Osasuna

Atlético Madrid recorded their most convincing league victory of the season by beating Osasuna 4-0 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

Jonathan David opened the scoring in the 24th minute on his first league start for Atlético. The hosts then took complete control after halftime.

Lee Kang-In doubled the lead in the 54th minute, with David involved again as the provider. Robin Le Normand made it 3-0 in the 63rd before Álex Baena completed the scoring in the 82nd minute.

The scoreline reflected Atlético’s control. Diego Simeone’s side dominated possession and chances, kept a clean sheet, and moved onto 13 points after six matches.

The result also provides Atlético with momentum ahead of their next major test in the league schedule.

Deportivo La Coruña 0-1 Sevilla

Sevilla ended Deportivo La Coruña’s unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 victory at Riazor.

After a goalless first half, Miguel Sierra scored the decisive goal in the 52nd minute. Lucas Stassin drove into the area and forced a save from Leo Román, with Sierra reacting to the rebound to put Sevilla ahead.

Deportivo’s task became more difficult in the 59th minute when Angeliño was sent off. The defender was initially shown a yellow card, but the decision was upgraded to a direct red following a VAR review.

Despite playing with 10 men, Deportivo continued to push for an equaliser. Sevilla held firm, however, to secure all three points and move onto 13 points.
